This theme concentrates on macro or minimalist photography. What is the link here? Minimalist photography can be summarized in one quote by Leonardo da Vinci: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” In other words, less is more. By stripping a photo down to the bare essentials, minimalist photographers show how powerful simplicity can be. There’s no clutter to distract viewers from the main subject. Macro photography involves taking close-up photos of small things (e.g. insects, flowers or parts of flowers, close ups of everyday objects. Strictly speaking macro-photography is when the image on the sensor is the same size or larger than the object itself.
