DESCRIPTION:Are you thinking of printing some of your images for decorating your home and office\, or to give away as gifts? A good print on the wall is a great way to showcase your best images.  \nIn this presentation\, we’ll cover things you need to know to get the best print outcome\, from the choice of photo paper and other media\, to ensuring colour and tone accuracy through monitor calibration and soft proofing\, and putting on the finishing touch through framing and matting. Most of the material applies whether you use a print shop\, or print at home. \nAbout the speaker: \nJonathan Sau has been doing photography since the 90’s\, and has been making prints since 2016 for his fine art photography business\, using both his Epson photo printer at home\, and commercial print shops. We will be showing some award winning photos from the OC3 (Ontario Council of Camera Clubs) Open Photo Challenge 2025. Mark Bingeman will be giving us some tips on using Lightroom. Dessert\, coffee and hot chocolate will be served. Zoom should be available\, but we’d love to see you in person!
