DESCRIPTION:The Grand Valley Image Battle (GVIB) competition is held once a year as an inter-club competition with other clubs in South-Western Ontario.  This year’s GVIB is hosted by Woodstock as an online event.  \nThursday\, December 16th at 7 pm will be the Zoom call meeting to show judging results. \nThe meeting will be recorded for later viewing.

DESCRIPTION:We’re heading out tonight to capture the lights in Waterloo Park.  The Festival of Lights has been running in the park since 1993. \nMeet at the Wonders of Winter Arch located by the parking lot on Seagram’s Drive.  This is right by the Laurier-Waterloo Park ION station.  \nPlease socially distance when visiting the park\, and when that is not possible\, wear a mask. \nThere has been some interest expressed in potentially going for coffee or hot chocolate afterwards. \n

DESCRIPTION:This year we will be participating in four CAPA (Canadian Association of Photographic Art) Competitions as a club.  For the first competition in the winter\, the Board has selected the Lines and Curves competition.  The club will select six images\, which must be from different photographers\, to represent the club. \nSubmit one digital image for consideration in the CAPA Lines and Curves Competition. \nSee the description of the CAPA Competitions under the Competitions menu tab for the image themes\, image standards\, and file naming conventions.  \nSubmit images online at  SUBMIT HERE.
