Or just a happy story about Christmas time and a picture. SUMMARY:Outing:  Waterloo Park Wonders of Winter  Monday Dec. 16 @ 7:30PM
DESCRIPTION:With the change of the banquet night\, we can now have fun with our cameras instead on Dec. 16th. \nCome on out to Waterloo Park to make photos of all the beautiful seasonal lights. \nWe will meet at the Wonders of Winter Arch at south end of the Seagram’s Drive Parking Lot. \nHere are Mark’s recommendations: \n1. Dress for the weather – we will be outside for the full outing. In case of inclement weather\, we will announce a cancellation on the website by Sunday afternoon\n2. Let’s explore the park together in groups of say 2-4 for safety\, and for socializing.\n3. Bring a Tripod and cable trigger (or use the self-timer in the camera) to ensure stable camera during exposures. Experiment with various lengths of exposures.\n4. If it is really cold\, bring an extra battery for your camera and keep it in a warm pocket\n5. Various lenses will work\, but a general purpose medium zoom\, say 24-70 mm\, should be good for the size of light displays and viewing distance\n6. When bringing your camera back home after the outing\, keep it in a camera bag\, and let it warm up slowly. Wait until the next day to pull out your camera and upload your images. \nWondersOfWinter_Map_2018 \nHope to see you there.
